New Haven Clam Pies are considered one of the world’s classic pizzas. This unique style originated in New Haven, Connecticut in the 1960’s at Pepe’s (or maybe Sally’s, there’s a lot of debate). Nevertheless, ABV has worked hard to produce a very faithful representation of this hard-to-find, but incredibly delicious pie. Crispy crunchy crust, briny garlicky base, salty from the ocean and from the aged cheeses, with aromas of oregano, garlic and parsley:
for seafood lovers, this is a pie you will not soon forget.
